London – Day 7 ‚Hot breakfast and a gluten-free restaurant‘

As today marked the end of our trip to London I decided to finally have a hot breakfast. I ended up just having bacon and fried eggs on toast. After storing our luggage at the Victoria Coach station, we took the Northern line to Angel and visited the restaurant Niche. It is the only 100% gluten-free restaurant in London. [read more…]

London – Day 6 ‚Vegetarian Indian Food and the Borough Market again‘

After visiting the ‘Old operating theater’ which I thought was an actual theater but turned out to be a museum about medical history, we had lunch on the borough market again. Very full, but given all the amazing food you can get there it’s only logical that it’s packet. The market is a treat for people with a gluten free diet. [read more…]

London – Day 3 ‚Food at the hotel‘

London – Day 3 ‚Food at the hotel‘

Even though there actually isn’t much I can write today, I shall post anyway. The hotel food is worth mentioning for it’s gluten free options and their ability to adapt. We went to two museums that day, one of which was the British museum, and that takes up a lot more time than you’d think it would. At the end of the day you just don’t want to walk any further in the search for food. [read more…]

London – Day 2 ‚Borough Market‘

London – Day 2 ‚Borough Market‘

The Borough Market is one of London’s most well-known food markets. For a good reason. The atmosphere is great and you can get so many different kinds of food there, from all over the world, I haven’t seen anything comparable yet. You want something special? Turkish delight? French cheese? Croatian chocolate spread? Look no further than Borough Market. [read more…]

London – Day 1 „Plane, Hotel, Food market Kings Cross“

London – Day 1 „Plane, Hotel, Food market Kings Cross“

When you think of London as a person has to eat gluten-free you can only think about all the food you going to eat because there’s so much. Well, today I arrived in London to find only five booths at the first food market we went to. Disappointed we decided to go to a restaurant, but mainly found fast food places. [read more…]
