When you found your way here chances are you are gluten intolerant yourself, allergic, or you know at least a little about it, maybe from a friend or family member who has an allergy.
For those of you who don’t know I’ll explain shortly. Gluten is a is a protein found in several types of grains such as:
- wheat (wheat starch, couscous, etc.)
- rye
- spelt
- barley
- seitan
- bulgur
- oats
- triticale
- einkorn
- emma
- kamut
People suffering from an intolerance or allergy can react to ingesting it with nausea, diarrhea, headaches, breathing problems, rash or even tachycardia (rapid heartbeat).
